Hard working friendly and reasonably priced

Swans moved my parents' contents from their flat where they have lived for over 35 years. This was a tough and emotional move with a lifetimes worth of personal effects. The team were friendly, efficient, hard working and understanding even when there was more than we estimated. I'd happily recommend them again. They also moved us during lockdown and did a great job then. Thanks Swans.

Top notch service.

Moving house is a pretty traumatic experience, but these guys worked very hard to make sure that it was as stress free as possible.

Martyn provided the estimate and told us exactly what the process would be. All his assurances transpired and he was always at the end of the phone if we had any questions leading up to the moving day.

Definitely worth using their packing service and they take immaculate care over all your possessions. Everything was individually wrapped, even the miniatures from my cocktail cabinet and with 90% of boxes now unpacked, there has not been a single breakage.

We had five guys led by the very professional foreman Ricky on the removal day and they worked tirelessly to get everything loaded. Nothing was to much trouble, they were clean, tidy and very efficient. On arrival at the new house, the first thing they did was put plastic down to make sure the carpets were all protected. Attention to detail was terrific.

I would not hesitate to recommend Swan Removals and would be happy top answer any questions.

WORST REMOVAL COMPANY EVER

WORST EXPERIENCE FROM START TO FINISH! They turned up nearly 2 hrs late. Only one member of the team was able to speak reasonable English - communication was near impossible. They spent such a long long time smoking cigarettes and taking phone call that we didn't get out of the property packed until 4pm. Organisation was a shambles! Boxes weren't marked properly and weren't packed properly! They broke my TV and damaged a picture! They have taken no responsibility for the damage. AVOID AVOID AVOID

Outstanding service.

Very happy with the service. Guys were amazing, service outstanding. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for removal service.
I had packing and removal done and it was all done on properly on with professional manner.
They were 15min late on the first day which gave me some doughs at first but after that it all went smoothly. Five star company that what I would say, Very impressed.

They are great so so happy to got in touch with them. The whole process from booking till the actual move was so easy and I can believe that is finished to be honest. We never had this kind of experience before,and we've moved a lot, it was painful and always costed us a fortune, this time we were blessed . Thank you guys so much I am spreading the word and I must admit I don't do that much often.

I am very satisfied from Swans Removals.The packing skills of the workers surprised me.They work very fast and they are very dedicated.It's a joyful experience to watch them handling with moving the big stuff.The boys are very equipped with different kinds of tools.When they are fitting your stuff in the moving truck they look like the are solving a puzzle and when they finish it literally looks like a puzzle.I would really recommend them to everybody.

Professional and solution oriented.

The Swans team were prompt, professional and extremely thorough. They were friendly and pleasant and solution oriented - which was extremely important and useful to us. They worked tirelessly and needed to be told to take a break/rest. We are really happy with Rikki and Cheddah in particularly - would recommend asking for these guys in particular. We hope that we don't have to move again soon but whenever we do, it will with Swans for sure. .

Removals.

What can I say moving to a smaller house after living there for 24 years and with a disabled husband was a daunting task. It was so reassuring when the removals men from Swans arrived and they basically took over things for us and made it an enjoyable experience. Would highly recommend.

The service we received from Swans Removals was exceptional. The communication beforehand was prompt and clear. The men were extremely professional and efficient. They were extremely helpful fixing our loft ladder, which was above and beyond the call of duty. The price was definitely the most reasonable quote we had, and given the high level of service we received I would definitely say we got value for money. Very good friendly service. On time and always accommodating on last minute changes. Anna - who was the main co-ordinator was also very professional and provided good advise. The guys were very careful with the packing especially the fragile items which remained intact. It was also very pleasing to see how good they were in stacking all the items in the two lorries. Reliable, friendly and efficient service.They arrived early and were very polite.The movers worked very fast and kept to time.
Cleaning was professionally done and I absolutely loved the way my kitchen was cleaned.
I would definitely recommend this to my friends and family.They drove to our house and all our belongings were neatly packed and stacked and we had no damages. They unloaded each item with care and precision and made sure everything was in the right place.
The customer service was absolutely superb.This is a service you should not hesitate to use.

All ladies in the sales office were most helpful and looked after all of my needs every step of the way with personal touch.
When the crew arrived I literally didn't have to do anything, they took care of my furniture, especially my precious heavy marble mirror. Quick, efficient and clean. I will recomment Swans to all my family and friends anytime!

Amazing service.

So impressed with this company. Competitive price, good communication & my most positive moving experience ever! The lady on the phone booking the move & clarifying my inventory was friendly & helpful. The 2 gentleman on the day were amazing. They weren't flummoxed at all by my stuff. I'd run out of time & boxes so resorted to bin bags for the last ditch packing. They were smiley, accommodating & cheerful despite sofa's being a tight squeeze & having to take doors off hinges. They packed the van brilliantly, wrapped up all my furniture & everything arrived safe & sound. They worked so hard all day & really went the extra mile. Can not recommend highly enough.

Delighted with our experience from Swan. Move happened over two days due to distance. Very friendly and competent movers. Everything dismantled and reassembled perfectly. Excellent service from start to finish.

I found swans removals by Google. I had a move from a two bed flat to four bed house. Swans came and quoted, on time and professionally. When I got a cheaper quote, they beat it.

On moving day, they came on time, with three very strong men. They removed all the boxes, dismantled some furniture and packed the TVs. Everything was done with care and attention. They worked around the fact that our boxes were the weakest boxes ever found. They even lifted the boxes and cupboards which weighed over 60kgs.

On arrival they came and unloaded, putting each thing in the correct place. They reassembled the beds, nice and strong and kept things good. It was starting to get late, so they got two extra guys, to ensure that we would finish (at no extra cost)

Swans were with me from 8:30am to 9:30pm. And I am overcome with appreciation over the curtesy professionalism and understanding these goes displayed when doing the job. 100% would use again and recommend to everyone.

Removals.

What an amazing experience!!
From the lovely lady who came to give us a quote to the four helpful, hard-working movers who came to pack everything on the previous day and then moved us in three vans the next day.
These men were brilliant - they arrived early, wouldn't even stop for a cup of tea and were so careful, polite, and speedy with the packing most of the furniture was loaded and the van kept in secure storage the first day.
On the second day they again worked so quickly and efficiently, dismantling beds and loading items from the garden and garage they were ready to go several hours before we got the key.
They drove to our new house in a small village and waited patiently until we could get in. They then unloaded each van in turn ensuring everything was left in the correct room. They worked so fast it was as if they had been wound up. Two of the movers stayed late to put the beds together.
As a final touch one of the movers returned the following week to take away all the boxes.
I would definitely recommend this company.

We are not moving very often and it was very important for us to find some one that knows what they are doing we had piano to move and that was done by the same company as well and by friend neede to pay extra for that service when she moved. Excellent Service & Trust worthy.

The service was excellant and we had to do nothing except to see them Pack/Dismantle/Move/Deliver/Unpack & Assemble. It was seemless and very professional behaviour. The work was spread across two days. The full first day was for dismantling & packing small things and the second day was mainly for uploading & moving big items in half day and delivering/assembling until late evening. The team work was brilliant.

Brilliant Removal - 22/2/21

We moved with Swans on 22/2/21 and the experience was great from start to finish. We booked them on a provisional basis about 8 weeks before we actually moved as we thought removals firms would be swamped due to the ending of stamp duty. We got three quotes and Swans was the cheapest and they did a video survey of our house which went well - really just me going room to room with my mobile phone on video. We got three other quotes and they were the cheapest. We went with them because they were cheapest and were also just around the corner from where we were living. Anyhow they came and dismantled and packed on the Saturday (but left us with our dining table, sofas, TV and bed to use over the weekend). On Monday they actually moved us. Fortunately, all the legal/financial aspects of completion happened as packing/removal took placeonMonday22/2/21.Theywereveryefficient-came at about 8:30am and finished packing by about 11:30am. Then they left and though they had lunch were at the new property (about 1 hr 15 mins away) by 1pm. Then they unpacked. It was a bit intense as there were 6 men from Swans unpacking and we were tired so inevitably we directed them to put stuff in wrong places. Anyhow they had unpacked and reassembled beds/bookcases etc by about 3pm. All the staff were very polite and courteous. And they were very professional and knew what they were doing. I HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO HESITATION IN RECOMMENDING SWANS.

Fantastic service on the day

The Swans removal men did a fantastic job for our move, 1 hour drive from our flat in North London. They were very friendly, super "can do", positive and made the whole thing look easy. It was very stress free for my girlfriend and I who were frequently told to relax and not worry about lifting anything. The van was packed to perfection and the quote was very competitive. Fantastic Service.

Right from the start Swans were awesome. Our buyers’ solicitor had messed up about and we had to change things several times. Swans were flexible and accommodating throughout.
